Meg: This is Meg & Dia!

Tour Stories...
Meg: When we were in Arizona, I had a lot of sake before one of our shows--I don't normally drink but--I just remember that somehow Dia and I just kept ending up on the floor, and then we would jam out and we'd just be on the floor again, and it was probably the best show I've ever played.
Dia: In New York, I was deathly sick. Right before the show, I just kind of laid curled up on the couch and I was sweating death because I had a fever and a flu and I was on my period and umm... can I not say that? Well, I was on my period and I had leggings on like this and like a little dress thing and I was like dancing around and at the end of the show there was like a big lump in my legging like this big and it was my tampon and there was like blood running down my leg and I was like, "This is so awesome, my tampon's in my leg." And then I just got off and I was sweating and like more sick and I was like, "I'm gonna die." And then I got a taxi and went home and fixed myself cleaned up. That was my worst show.
Nick: I remember that.
Dia: You know what, you know you're rocking out hard and giving it your all when your tampon is in your legging.
Nick: I can't even beat that. That's my worst show too, yep.
Outside of music...
Dia: Outside of music, I like to paint, or attempt to paint, and have my sister fix my really ugly paintings into something cool, and I like swimming, I like hanging out with my family--they live far away so I always try to go fly out and see them and just hang out with my little sisters.
Meg: I like reading, when I'm not touring and playing with my fellow band, and I like talking to people that are very interested and very much desire to talk to me at the moment.
Nick: Tomorrow I'm going surfing for the first time ever, so that'll be really fun, I think. It's kind of cold outside, so it might not be that much fun, but hopefully it will.
Inner band romance...
Meg: Whoa...!
Nick: Me and Dia? We're just brother and sister.
[Laughter] |
